The Best Connection are seeking to recruit a HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driver to work with their client in Darlington. Our client provides domestic and international standard parcel services for business customers and consumers. They have a requirement for a Class 1 Night Driver .
The role:
  • You will be required to do trunk runs to their hub in the Midlands. Tip and reload and run back to the Darlington site in curtain sider vehicle.
  • Experience is desired as this job role is speedy, efficient and accurate delivery to customers at set times.

The candidate:
  • Valid and in date HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence, CPC & Digi Card
  • Smart appearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude to customer care.

Hours of work:
  • On going work available
  • 19.45pm shift start time Monday to Friday

Pay Rates
  • Night Shift: £14.00 per hour (PAYE) basic rate
  • Enhanced rate for working weekends
