ResponsibilitiesnBusiness Information Security Officer (BISO) Responsibilities (50%):nAssist in the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, controls, and procedures.nMonitor and analyse security systems to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities.nConduct regular security assessments and maintain up-to-date information security trackers.nCoordinate Information Security Management System (ISMS) Board meetings and ensure completion of action items.nSupport incident response efforts and engage with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.nOwn the business continuity plan and ensure annual testing.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into product development.nProvide security awareness training to employees and contractors.nStay informed about industry trends and emerging threats to enhance our security systems.nAssist with compliance efforts related to regulations and industry standards.nChampion their ISMS to internal and external stakeholders.nAssist sales with information related to information security.nCoordinate and lead ISMS audit activities.
Project Co-ordination Responsibilities (50%):nCreate and maintain project risk registers and ensure any infosec requirements are captured.nAttend project meetings, take comprehensive notes, and identify actions, owners, and timelines.nWork with finance to ensure invoices are created and sent to customers on time.nSetup and maintain internal project filing structure and manage any client-provided structures.nCompletion of other tasks related to customer success, support, or project management.
RequirementsnBachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or 2+ years working in an information security position.nStrong understanding of information security principles, concepts, and technologies.nFamiliarity with common security frameworks and standards.nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal.nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.nPMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent qualifications preferable.
