Operations and Finance Analyst

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading business based in the Cambridge area as they seek to recruit an Operations and Finance Analyst to join their team. This role has become available due to internal growth within the organisation, and within this role you will report into the Operations Manager. This role will be hybrid working, with 3 days in the office, and 2 days being worked from home. The role will also require travel once a month to London to work in their office based near Kings Cross. 
As the incoming Operations and Finance Analyst, you will be trained and tasked with the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Prepare quarterly trial balance reports
- Conduct variance analysis
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Assisting with Cashflow forecasting
- Assist in building reporting systems
- Additional duties as per the full job description 
Due to the nature and the level of this position, it is paramount that you have previous experience working in a similar accountancy role, with ideally some operational duties. A role within an investment setting would be considered advantageous too. You will also ideally be working towards either ACCA/CIMA or equivalent and knowledge of FCA would be valuable, but not essential. Other desirable attributes you will ideally possess include:
- Excellent communication skills 
- Strong excel knowledge and IT literacy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge of financial systems, ideally Oracle
