Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a number of Mechanical Engineers at all levels on a project in the Bristol/Gloucester areas. The roles offer flexible, hybrid working, competitive packages benefits and the opportunity to work on a fantastic project in the UK.
Role Profile
Candidates will be familiar with the requirements of working in a regulated environment providing RE support, you will deliver work to high HSSE standards in compliance to HSSE regulations. Responsibilities will include:
Producing detailed design drawings, calculations, design control plans, validation & verification plans, designers risk assessments, quality plans
Production of or contribution to substantiation reports, operating and maintenance operating procedures in line with manufacturing specifications, equipment recovery plans, test procedures and test reports
Preparing technical solutions to meet customer requirements and initial concepts to provide optimal project solutions with current best practice and to the relevant standards and procedures
Supporting design reviews and HAZOPs
Maintaining and developing associated client relationships
Here's what you'll need :
Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related subjects
Chartered or Incorporated member of IMechE or equivalent or desire to work towards Chartership
Experience of design assurance and ability to apply standards and regulations in one or more of the following technical disciplines would be preferable:
Cranes/Lifting equipment
HVAC
Pipework (designed to ASME code)
Rotating plant
Experience of working in multidisciplinary teamsWhy We're Different:
