Morson Talent are recruiting for Electrical Fitters for Crane repair and Maintenance in Devonport dockyard in Plymouth.

Electrical Fitter Crane Maintenance (Cremo) Your role will be to ensuring the serviceability and availability of the Cranes, undertaking facility maintenance.

Key work activities include:
Electrical fault finding on motors and systems.
Motor disconnection/reconnection.
Lighting replacement and testing.
LIVIC and LOTTO
Planned maintenance inspection and testing on plant and systems.

Candidates will be required to:

Obtain security up to SC
Comfortable with their ability to work at height.
Work within radiological areas
Undergo training to operate forklift trucks, MEWPs and Scissor Lifts.

Experience/Qualifications
Strong electrical engineering background with a Lv3 Qualification in Electrical engineering
Competent in the use of general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the
role of electrical fitter.
Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret work instructions.
Proven track record of completing work to time, cost and quality parameters.
Ideally will have worked on Rail Tugs and Cranes but not essential.

6 Months initial contract

35 std hours a wek - shift and overtime a possibility

Flexibility for variable shift working is a requirment fo this role.
