We are currently working with a well-known membership organisation, based in central London, that is looking to engage a Clinical Negligence Lawyer on a 6 month FTC . The role can be part time or full time, for 3-5 days per week , and operates on a hybrid basis, with 2 days a week in their London office.


The main purpose of the role is to investigate and assist in non-litigated and litigated claims, with a varied workload which includes providing advice, preparing cases and representing members in the defence of clinical negligence cases at all stages.

Successful individuals are likely to:


  • Have at least upwards of 2 years’ experience in handling a full clinical negligence caseload, acting for the Claimant or Defendant
  • Possess experience in the day to day management of claims including litigated matters
  • Hold experience in managing their own case load
  • Have the ability to learn quickly and apply said learning to be able to work at pace and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills


The successful individual can expect to join a small, supportive, and collegiate legal team. The role does not have any billing or time recording targets , so the focus is very much on the running of the cases and doing the best for their members.

The role is to start ASAP ; therefore, lawyers are likely to be available immediately or at short notice.
