Role Description:


They are seeking an experienced Real Estate Project Manager with a strong background in managing diverse projects within the UK real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be adept at overseeing project finances, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and budgets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing and Maintaining Project Cash Flows: Develop and maintain comprehensive project cash flow projections to monitor financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Reviewing Costs: Conduct regular reviews of project costs to identify potential savings opportunities, cost overruns, and areas for optimization.
  • Drafting RFP and Scope of Services: Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and define project scopes of services to solicit bids from contractors, consultants, and other service providers.
  • Drafting Monthly Reports: Compile detailed monthly progress reports highlighting project milestones, financial status, and any deviations from the original plan for review by stakeholders.
  • Workshop and Meeting Arrangement: Organize and facilitate project workshops and meetings, including preparing agendas, coordinating logistics, and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Contract Drafting and Administration: Assist in the drafting, negotiation, and administration of project contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Project (or Similar): Utilize project management software, such as MS Project or similar tools, to create project schedules, track progress, and manage resources effectively.
  • Engagement and Monitoring of Design Team and Survey Work: Collaborate with design teams and surveyors, providing guidance and oversight to ensure project objectives are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Drafting Scope of Works: Prepare detailed scope of works documents for projects ranging from £500k to £1m, outlining project requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Experience of Working Within a Project Filing System: Maintain organized project documentation and records within a designated filing system to ensure accessibility and compliance with regulatory standards.


Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role within the UK real estate industry.
  • Experience of High end residential projects is strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and cost reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and concise documents.
  • Proficiency in project management software, particularly MS Project or similar tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of contract law and experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
