This position is based in Reading. We have a residential home for 7 adults with complex physical, medical and learning needs and a supported living services for 5 adults with learning disabilities. The people that live at with us need full support in all aspects of their life.
This position is based at our Residential service.
What you'll be doing:
  • All aspects of personal care, feeding, cooking, some cleaning, key working.
  • Inhouse activities - baking, art/crafts, board games, sensory, reading etc.
  • Supporting people during the evening and night. That could be making a mug of hot chocolate and having a chat or spending time to help someone that is having problems sleeping.
  • Other duties include night checks, repositioning, cleaning/laundry, completing records and writing reports. There are two waking night staff on shift each night.
