Akkodis are seeking a skilled and ambitious Embedded Software Engineer with proven experience in developing real-time software solutions for defence/space applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background with C/C++ programming language with an understanding of real-time embedded systems.

About the role:nAs an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing mission-critical software solutions for defence and space. Your expertise in C programming will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and optimization of real-time embedded software to meet the requirements.

What you’ll be doing:nUtilize proficiency in C programming to develop high-performance, real-time embedded software for defence and space applications.nCollaborate closely with teams to integrate software with hardware components and systems.nImplement efficient algorithms and optimizations to meet stringent real-time performance requirements.nEnsure software systems adhere to stringent safety and security standards for defence and space applications.nGenerate and maintain technical documentation, including software requirements, design specifications, and test plans.

About you:nProven experience within embedded software development for defence, aerospace, or space industries.nStrong proficiency within C and C++ programming.nReal-time embedded software development required.
