Mechanical Fitter.
We have a Contract position for an experienced mechanical fitter who has the following skill sets.
* Use of mobile plant
* Lifting and slinging experience for moving machines, pipework preferably certified
* Use of hand tooling to remove and fit plant
* Use of gas cutting equipment to remove redundant plant
* Good communication skills – directly with clients & other team members & management
* Happy to work away from home for periods of time
* Ability to weld an advantage
* IR35 Status to be confirmed
Rate £12-20 per hour (Depending on Experience)
The above is a general overview of the requirements, fitting knowledge in general ie working to tolerances, ability to see a few steps ahead.
An adaptable mindset to be creative, acceptance of change, ability to see the bigger picture to pass that onto team members when under pressure as we often have to work to very tight deadlines
