Registered Mental Health Nurse – Manchester – Ongoing Opportunity
Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a passion for supporting vulnerable populations? We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 RMN to join our Addictions and Homelessness team in Manchester.
Position Overview:
Role: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Addictions and Homelessness
Band: 5
Location: Manchester
Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £20.00 per hour
Your Role as a Registered Mental Health Nurse:
As a Band 5 RMN in the Addictions and Homelessness team, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering care to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Your key responsibilities will include:
Outreach Services: Conduct regular outreach visits to support individuals struggling with addiction and homelessness, providing essential care and interventions directly in the community.
Substance Misuse Management: Assist with medication-assisted treatment plans, closely monitor progress, and support patients on their journey to overcoming substance dependence.
Holistic Support: Engage with patients to understand their unique challenges, offering psychological support, crisis intervention, and guidance toward recovery and long-term stability.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including social services and housing agencies, to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address both mental health and social needs.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: Active NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
Experience: Experience working with addiction, homelessness, or similar vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively under challenging circumstances.
Commitment: A deep commitment to improving the lives of individuals facing addiction and homelessness, with a focus on compassionate, person-centered care.
