Airworthiness Engineer
Adren White is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Airworthiness Engineer. Our client, based at Oxford Airport, is a leader in the aviation industry, offering extensive experience in helicopter sales, bespoke completions, maintenance, and spare support.
Job Description:
The Airworthiness Engineer is responsible for managing and producing maintenance programs, reviewing airworthiness documentation, and providing support during airworthiness reviews and aircraft transfers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Follow company procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Perform timely reviews of technical information from regulatory authorities and OEMs, including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, modifications, and repairs.
* Develop, implement, and periodically review Aircraft Maintenance Programs and associated configurations. Update maintenance task cards based on program updates and changes in Maintenance Manuals.
* Support the introduction and development of new continuing airworthiness software applications.
* Provide support on Airworthiness Reviews, Certificate of Airworthiness, and Export Certificate of Airworthiness applications and recommendations.
* Review incoming aircraft for compliance with maintenance programs and define bridging requirements.
* Conduct repetitive defect and reliability analysis and assess the effectiveness of maintenance programs.
* Review and update aircraft flight manuals.
* Generate compliance reports to support aircraft audits or airworthiness reviews.
* Provide support across the CAMO team and continually improve airworthiness processes and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
* Strong understanding of aircraft continuing airworthiness requirements related to Part CAMO / A8-25 and Part 145 / A8-23.
* Methodical approach with acute attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
* Flexible work ethic with a focus on meeting deadlines.
* Strong team leadership and proactive problem-solving skills.
* High computer literacy, proficient with Google Docs.
* Effective communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of continuing airworthiness management software for maintenance and materials planning.
Education, Qualifications, or Training:
Essential:
* Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, or equivalent recognized qualifications (e.g., NVQ, BTEC).
Desirable:
* Aviation-related degree or equivalent.
* Aviation human factors training.
* Recognised Part CAMO Training Course.
* Recognised Part 145 Training Course.
Additional Requirements:
* Due to the nature of this position, DBS Security Clearance and compliance with Export Compliance Regulations are required
