The Production Engineer Job is a permanent, full-time role, working hours:
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45 and Friday 08:00 to 13:00.
What You Will Do:
As the Production Engineer at Uplifts, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager to implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of production lines. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our homelift products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify and implement process and product improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Collaborating with the Engineering team to review and implement product changes and ensuring the maintenance teams are aware of any equipment which isn’t operating optimally.
Ensure that production processes meet quality standards, particularly focusing on the unique requirements of homelift manufacturing.
Provide technical support to the production team by troubleshooting equipment and process issues specific to homelift production.
Lead and manage projects aimed at improving production processes and ensuring it is completed in a timely manner within the budget.
Collect and analyse production data to identify trends and areas for improvement to allow the business to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
Ensure all production activities comply with health and safety regulations to promote a culture of safety and continuous IMP
Job Requirements:
Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification.
Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools.
Project management experience.
