The Role:
As the Campus EHS Manager, you will be the driving force behind safety and health excellence on high-profile data centre projects. Reporting to the EHS Regional Manager, you'll lead site-based EHS initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of safety are met. Your expertise will guide management, EHS Advisors, and site teams, ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of EHS management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
EHS Leadership: Provide expert advice, guidance, and training on all EHS matters to management, employees, and contractors.
System Implementation: Oversee the application of EHS management systems across all projects, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify, report, and address business EHS risks, KPIs, and trends, driving continuous improvement.
Audit & Inspection: Conduct thorough audits and site inspections, ensuring adherence to EHS plans and regulatory standards.
Incident Investigation: Lead comprehensive investigations into incidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all site documents, including Site Plans and RAMS, are up-to-date and compliant.
Sub-Contractor Management: Evaluate and oversee sub-contractors, ensuring they meet project-specific EHS requirements.
Client Liaison: Act as the EHS point of contact for clients, contractors, and statutory authorities, ensuring seamless communication and safety compliance.What We're Looking For:
Experience: 5+ years in Data Centre Construction, with a deep understanding of Electrical, Mechanical, and CSA disciplines.
Qualifications: Diploma in Occupational H&S (NFQ 8), Environmental Management Certificate (NFQ 6), Safe Pass (CSCS UK), First Aid, and Train the Trainer certifications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with EHS Management Systems, ISO standards, and a solid grasp of Construction Regulations and CDM roles.
Communication: Outstanding ability to convey information clearly through presentations, reports, and verbal communication.
Leadership: Proven track record in leading incident investigations and driving safety improvements.
Membership: Active IOSH Member or equivalent.Why Join Us?
