Premier Engineering is currently seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our client’s team in Stansted. Our client operates in the aerospace industry, providing cutting-edge solutions and products. They are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the highest standards of quality across their operations.
The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in the aerospace industry
Relevant qualifications in Engineering or a related field (BEng, HND, etc.)
Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards and regulations (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in quality management systems and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsThe Quality Engineer role will involve:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems
Conducting quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with aerospace standards
Analyzing quality data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
Collaborating with engineering and production teams to address quality issues
Reviewing and approving technical documentation and reports
Managing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and implementing corrective actions
Providing training and support on quality standards and procedures
