Prospero Teaching are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work in a large, over subscribed school in Bury on a full-time basis. The role will start after the October half term break and will continue until they break for Easter 2025. It is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher and that you are qualified to teach food technology & have experience in teaching key stage 3 & 4 pupils.
You will be expected to fully immerse yourself into school, attend departmental meetings, provide regular feedback to students and be available for parents evenings as and when they arise.

Minimum rate of pay £162.31 per day
Hours 8:20 am 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent
Previous experience teaching Food Technology in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)
Up to date prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training)
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, we can provide training)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional child related references
