The Role
A global manufacturer of HVAC seeks a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to offer technical and design support to their clients on specialist water cooled, refrigerated and heat pump HVAC systems. The role gives you the opportunity to utilise the direct global research and development investment of a billion £ company and you will be part of a team with the responsibility to ensure that they continue to lead the market with their product offering and retain their competitive advantage. You will work in a team environment liaising with M&E consultants and contractors, giving technical advice, designing, planning and quoting on HVAC system selections for both commercial and residential projects.
Experience Required
As this is a graduate role, it will be ideal if you have a mechanical engineering degree but please still apply if you have an engineering background and/or other HVAC qualifications along with experience within HVAC, covering air conditioning, refrigeration, chillers, heat pumps, plumbing and piping. It will be an advantage if you have knowledge on chilled water cooling solutions and have experience performing mathematical calculations such as heat loss, heat gain, load, pressure and volumetric.

The Package
Initial indications by the client are a salary range of between £28,000 and £35,000 with bonus depending on your level of experience and suitability for the role. This substantial package also includes health care, dental insurance, pension scheme, gym and sports / social club scheme.
