Responsible for:

As a Senior Manager Silicon Carbide Process Integration, you will contribute to the success of Vishay through driving best-in-class processes and yield performance with your leadership and expertise in SiC process integration and project optimization.

Job Location:nThis position is located Newport, UK.

What you will be doing:nDesign, develop and qualify semiconductor SiC wafer fabrication processes.nDevelop new wafer process modules for SiC wafers.nExecute major process development and/or integration tasks and build up products.nMaintain, and improve process modules including design rules, structural and electrical specifications.nDesign critical experiments and analyze data.nIdentify, quantify key module deficiencies/technology gaps, and drive cross-functional teams to address.nAssist in the transfer of a new technology from R&D to manufacturing ramp and qualification.nProvide technical mentoring to junior engineers.nWhat you will bring along:nMaster’s or B.S. degree in Semiconductor Device Physics or Semiconductor Technology and/or MicroelectronicsnMinimum 3 years’ relevant working experiencenKnowledge of semiconductor devices and industrial semiconductor technologynHands on experience in wafer fab process module developments on furnace equipmentnExperience with manufacturing and standard cost environment required with exposure to Semiconductor process-oriented environments preferrednExposure to lean manufacturing concepts is highly desirablenMust clearly and concisely present and interact at a leadership levelnExcellent problem-solving skills – able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement and assesses viable solutions. Develop and execute comprehensive action plans.nAbility to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including ability to assess and manage priorities.nEffective communications skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical expertise.nExcellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
