Our client is a leading global crane maintenance company with offices in North America, the UK, Central Europe, Singapore, and the Middle East. Specializing in servicing offshore oil & gas platforms worldwide, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Hydraulics Project Engineer to join their international engineering team at our Bradford-based headquarters.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Hydraulics Project Engineer to provide project management support and engineering expertise for offshore crane systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing tenders, design, engineering, troubleshooting, repairs, refurbishment, upgrades, and maintenance of hydraulic equipment. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with a diverse team, and travel internationally.

Qualifications:nDegree qualified, preferably in hydraulic/mechanical engineering or equivalent.nChartered/Incorporated Accreditation or actively working towards it.nHND/HNC/NVQL3 with relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:nProvide project management support for offshore crane projects.nOversee tenders, offers, design, and engineering activities.nProvide technical support for offshore crane systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades.nManage engineering activities related to hydraulic equipment, spare parts sourcing, and refurbishment plans.nConduct engineering design for offshore crane and hydraulic interface projects.nPrepare work packs and other project documentation.nUndertake offshore and onshore surveys and project work scopes.nEnsure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures.nFamiliarize with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and industry standards.

Necessary Experience:nKnowledge and experience with proportional control open and closed-loop systems.nCompetence Based Hydraulics Qualification or equivalent.nStrong organizational and communication skills.nAbility to work without supervision and manage projects independently.nMethodical and dynamic approach to problem-solving.nGood understanding of HSEQ requirements offshore.nProficiency in IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.

Additional Information:nThis is an office-based role in Bradford with 60-100 days per year of international travel.nThe company offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
