Are you an experienced Design Engineer? If so, our client, an engineering company, are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience within the engineering and manufacturing sector, to work on their site in Stonehouse. 
 
Position – Mechanical Design Engineer   
Contract Type - Permanent
Location – Stonehouse
 
Responsibilities – Mechanical Design Engineer 
Responsible for using 3D CAD to create detailed drawings and models for both new and existing components and products.
Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to discuss queries and progress of design projects.
Ensure designs comply with company and customer standards and specifications.
Create and check bill of material documentation. 
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Required – Mechanical Design Engineer
Experience with design for manufacture/assembly.
Recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
Have a good understanding of various metals and how they are applied in designs.
Experience with geometrical design and tolerancing.
