Position: Mechanical Fitter
Location: Drax, Selby
PAYE Pay: £1700/week Gross
Hours: 10-12hr shifts, Mon-Sun
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 9-10 weeks
The Role:
Our client has a requirement for Mechanical Fitters for a shutdown on a power station in Selby, from 23rd May for 9-10 weeks. Duties will include mechanical maintenance and replacement of mechanical components across the site, including precipitators, electrode wires, hoppers etc.
Essential Requirements:
* CCNSG card
* Mechanical Apprenticeship / City & Guilds / NVQ 3
Skills and Attributes Required:
* Flexible approach and adaptable to changing conditions
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Positive attitude to safety
* Tolerant of diverse working situations and conditions
