extremely varied work, company is an OEM thats developing first of their kind machines, innovation driven, well-established department, international group, rapidly growing company, full order book+++Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Mechanical Design Team Leader to join a successful, bespoke, special purpose machine manufacturer based in North Yorkshire.Key aspects of the Mechanical Design Team Leader role include;Skills are likely to have been through developing automation or special purpose machines for the world market, experience of designing CE compliant systems in any of the following; pharmaceutical, healthcare, consumer goods or clean energy industries.Successful Mechanical Design Team Leader will work with senior management team to provide technical risk mitigation plansPlan projects, schedule and allocate work packets to Mechanical Design EngineersProvide a high level of commercial awareness to ensure design solutions are delivered in a cost-effective manner & design changes are managed in accordance with standard operation proceduresAble to provide clear technical instruction to Mechanical Design EngineersAbility to manage priorities for all stakeholders and provide clear reportingCompetent in technical aspects of mechanical design and ideally development of special purpose machineryExperience of working within a multiskilled environment (i.e. knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components)The company is big on innovation and pushing the boundaries of whats possible and theyre also the embodiment of the phrase bespoke, they design special purpose machinery for a range of different sectors and applications from scratch.The companys premises are commutable from the following locations Leeds, Selby, Wetherby, Harrogate, Ripon, York, Pontefract, Doncaster, Hull / East Yorkshire and Wakefield.If this sounds like it could be youre an experience Mechanical Design Team Leader, please hit apply and we can arrange a convenient time to talk it through.
