We are thrilled to announce the opening of our clients brand-new bakery, dedicated to serving delicious, handcrafted baked goods made from the finest ingredients. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bakery Manager/ Assistant Manager to join our clients team and lead the charge in creating a warm, inviting, and efficient environment for both our customers and staff.
Bakery Management, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery's operations from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in setting up and managing a new bakery, ensuring it becomes a beloved staple in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee daily bakery operations, including production schedules, staffing, and customer service.
Maintain high standards for product quality, hygiene, and presentation.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and supervise bakery staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Schedule and manage staff shifts to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Customer Experience:
Ensure a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere for all customers.
Address customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Implement and oversee customer loyalty programs and promotions.
Financial Management:
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, sales targets, and cost control.
Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize product offerings and pricing.
Prepare regular financial reports for upper management.Qualifications:
Proven experience in bakery or food service management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management and ordering systems.
Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for creating a positive customer experience.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food industry.
