Job Title: Lead Shift Technician
Reports: 1-3
Hours: 6am-2pm / 1pm-9pm (Mon-Fri)
The Role:
Take charge of a skilled maintenance team to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient delivery of planned and reactive maintenance. Lead with safety, manage tasks via the CAFM system, and maintain high standards across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prioritize health and safety for yourself and your team
* Oversee PPM and reactive maintenance tasks
* Manage and update CAFM systems with real-time notes on all jobs
* Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to policies
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and contribute to e-log books
* Support client teams and ensure all documentation is up to date
* Be part of the on-call rota to provide site coverage
What You Bring:
* Technical qualifications (Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC)
* Experience in plant maintenance and supervisory roles
* Knowledge of building systems, tools, and heavy equipment
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Success Measures:
* 100% Statutory Compliance
* Consistently meeting SLAs
* Effective management of site spares and tools
Experience Required:
* 3+ years in a technical trade
* Facilities management experience (desirable)
