A Special Education provision is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher to cover ASD based classes across all stages of the curriculum. It is an ideal role for someone who has a thorough understanding of the needs of ASD and experienced within the primary curriculum. They are looking for someone who is keen, confident, committed, flexible and most importantly, an excellent team player.
The Primary Teacher will need to have:
Qualified Teacher Status (NQT’s encouraged to apply)
Additional Learning Needs / ALN experience
Experience teaching Foundation Phase
The ability to developing and encouraging learning
Be an excellent team player who is passionate about becoming part of the community
Creative and have the ability to conduct fun and inspiring lessons
A real desire to make a positive difference to children
