Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Tekla Draughtsperson to join their well-established and highly successful business.
You should have experience of SFS/LGF Steel Structures and be proficient in Tekla.

Draughtsperson duties:
• Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD models for a range of modular/SFS/light gauge frame projects – typically buildings.
• Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings.
• Liaise with relevant internal departments as required, Design, Contracts, Workshop etc. as well as externally as required such as Architects and engineers.
• Generate and chase as required technical queries/RFIs.
• Working within a team of detailers on a project or running your own project from start to finish.
Draughtsperson requirements:
• Experience using Tekla is much preferred as the drawing office use this software. Exceptional candidates that use other 3D steel detailing systems will be considered.
• Proven experience working on light gauge framing/SFS projects
• Ability to organise workload and manage detailing / issue of drawings program.
• Good time keeping.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
