Hays education are working with an Ofsted rated GOOD Catholic high school near Stratford-upon-Avon. This school holds high values of self, mutual and environmental respect, and strives to develop skills such as self-confidence, resilience, and compassion. This school are looking for a permanent, full-time Humanities teacher, confident in creating and delivering History and Geography lessons to students within KS3 and KS4.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for teaching both History and Geography to students of ranging ability levels within KS3 and KS4. You will be required to create an inclusive and supportive working environment, effectively guiding students throughout the curriculum. You will need to be confident in delivering lessons to students of differing abilities, with excellent communication. You will be responsible for the assessment of student’s work, providing constructive feedback tailored to individual learning needs.

What you will need to succeed

  • Qualified History or Geography Teacher (QTS)
  • Experience of teaching humanities subjects to KS3, KS4 students
  • Excellent subject and curriculum knowledge
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Team player attitude
