Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Secondary Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnering secondary schools in Batley. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students while supporting their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a variety of subjects.
Provide one-on-one support for students with additional needs, including those with SEN.
Help manage classroom behaviour, encouraging a positive learning environment.
Support the development of students' social and emotional skills.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to enhance students' progress.
Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Accompany students on school trips and other out-of-classroom activities.Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
A genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal development of young people.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).What We Offer:
