How will you make an impact?
Our Clients’ mission is to challenge the status quo of what's achievable versus what's acceptable in data centres, IT, and critical communications environments. They are currently in need of a Project Manager to help support Military Installation data centres which will be brought in from overseas. You will be the main authority on site and in charge of he site delivery.
What will you do?
+ Supervise third parties installing the; Switchgear, UPS, First Fix, HVAC, Routers and Switches.
+ Overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion for modular data centre deployments.
+ Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
+ Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
+ Coordinating with design and engineering teams to ensure modular data centre designs meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
+ Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure safety compliance.
+ Managing project schedules and resource allocation, including subcontractors, equipment, and personnel, to meet project milestones and deadlines.
+ Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including contractors, technicians, engineers, and stakeholders.
+ Conducting site inspections, quality assurance checks, and acceptance testing to verify that deliverables meet specifications and client expectations.
+ Managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, change orders, and closeout documentation, to ensure compliance and facilitate project handover.
+Engaging with clients, addressing their concerns, and maintaining positive relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
How will you get here?
+ Electrically qualified (HND, HNC, 17th Edition or degree)
+ Mechanical understanding
+ Project Management qualification or 3 years project management experience
+ 5+ years working on critical infrastructure data centres
