Overview :

We are seeking a Trade Lane Development Manager to bolster our capabilities in key strategic markets, including the Trans Atlantic, ISC, and Middle East regions. The role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in developing and expanding trade lanes, driving growth and profitability. Ideally, this position would be a great fit for an accomplished BDM who has demonstrated success in any of these critical areas.

Responsibilities :

Lead the development and growth of designated trade lane, focusing on strategic regions.

Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders in key markets.

Conduct detailed market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations.

Ensure alignment of trade lane growth strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements :

Extensive experience in freight forwarding with a specific focus on Trans Atlantic, ISC, or Middle East trade lanes.

Proven sales experience in the sea freight industry.

Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits :

Salary starting at £40-45K, but negotiable dependent on experience.

Car allowance.
