Job Title: IS Business Analyst for MHHS Project
12-month contract. Hybrid working, Outside IR35. £550/day
About the Role:
My client is actively delivering the Marketwide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) Programme, a crucial OFGEM regulatory initiative. They're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the MHHS project team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping my client's adoption of MHHS settlements arrangements. You'll collaborate closely with various business areas, identifying and implementing necessary process changes to support the transition to MHHS. Your contributions will be key to ensuring my client's successful qualification into the new settlement arrangements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- background in Business Analysis and project management
- with business and process change
- in data analysis using Microsoft Excel/Visio/PowerPoint
- background or intimate knowledge of testing practices
Desirable: Understanding/experience of Network Operators business/Market Half Hourly Settlement Programme
Key Responsibilities:
- the function to understand how MHHS affects various business areas and identify necessary process changes
- the business in writing processes and work instructions as needed
- workshops and meetings to address process updates and concerns
- comprehensive documentation, including business process flows
- user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with issue resolution
- training and support to end-users during and post-implementation phase
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- experience as a Business Analyst leading complex projects, preferably in utilities
- analytical and problem-solving skills
- communication and stakeholder management abilities
- with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
- to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- with MHHS or other regulatory programmes is highly desirable
- in Business Analysis or Project Management is a plus
