Our client is a well established business and due to the growth of the company, they are looking for an experienced Financial Controller / Company Accountant to join the Finance Team. This is a flexible, hybrid working part time role of 24 - 32 hours per week with a requirement to attend their Head Office in Ulverston every Friday.

Oversee all aspects of accounting and financial management for the business

* Preparation and payment of monthly payroll

* Monthly and annual group tax reconciliation

* Operation of electronic funds transfer system between bank accounts

* Ensure fee earners receive work in progress (WIP) reports prior to facilitating billing process

* Liaise with fee earners prior to billing cut-off date to ensure fee budgets are met

* Assisting departments in reporting on group performance at monthly group meetings

* Maintenance of the company’s bank accounts

* Ensure maximum utilisation of resources within the accounting department
