GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN teacher to join a thriving school in Redbridge. The SEN teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality, tailored lessons to students with special educational needs, ensuring that each child’s individual learning requirements are met. The SEN teacher will work alongside a supportive team to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students can succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
Use a range of teaching strategies to support students with varying abilities and learning styles.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to create and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching SEN students.
A deep understanding of SEN best practices and strategies for supporting diverse learners.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
