We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a National Highways and Consent Project Manager within the Consents team. This role will be based on site in Coleshill. Our head office is located within an excellent location easily accessible via the M6 and M42. The office is also accessible via rail, and we offer employees a shuttle bus transfer to our office from Birmingham international.
Role description:
Support the development, implementation and running of an assurance and delivery framework to deal with National Highways interfaces, resulting from the construction and operation of HS2 Phase 1. To support and facilitate timely consent for HS2 works being undertaken by BBV, as obligated under the HS2 Phase 1 Act.
Experienced required:
Experience of securing Highways Consents and ensuring compliance within construction / infrastructure context.
Knowledge and experience of Highways or civil engineering practices, methods, and techniques.
Understanding of working to programmes and critical paths.
Knowledge of UK planning law.
Knowledge of UK planning processes and Consent Granting Body requirements.
Experience of working in Highways or related project delivery.Please note candidates will need to have a current valid right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
