Responsible for the management of the financial details for the company to ensure all legal requirements and governance are met. Maintaining accurate records, electronically and producing timely management accounts, payroll, annual budgeting. Review financial reports and ways to reduce company costs. Manage mentor and motivate the financial team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (generic across all functions) Company Requirement : A seasoned finance professional, who thrives on a dynamic environment, with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and passionate about driving business success as these are pivotal to the delivery of the finance function. A true collaborator with a hands on approach who enjoys leading a team and has the affiliation on supporting the CFO with key projects along with the day to day deliverables. Role Requirements: • Working closely with the CFO to provide financial information and analysis to aid understanding of company performance • Manage the preparation of financial monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts • Prepare monthly analysis across all departments and advise department managers on project profitability, and employee utilisation • Oversee accounts receivable and payable, monitoring cash flows to ensure the company meets its short-term obligations and optimises investments. • Ensure accounting distributions are accurate, and all monies are accounted for properly • Oversee the disbursement of cash and manage payroll activities and bank settlements • Finance, planning and reporting bank and finance functions, including reviewing financial contracts and negotiating credit agreements or new financial terms. • Supervise and manage the Finance team to maintain accurate checks and balances. • Ensure financial reports are delivered, accurately and on time. Conduct financial analysis on various plans and advise CFO and management teams. • Assess investment risks with CFO. • Ensure the company complies with local laws and regulations and ensures the Company adheres to all statutory requirements, to all industry regulations to avoid fines and penalties. • Develop and implement financial policies and processes and controls to ensure company governance • Lead on annual audit process and statutory compliance including CT, VAT and PAYE. • Adhere to company policies procedures, including health and safety Note: In addition to these duties, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required in order to support the objectives of the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING Required Desirable ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified MBA or business degree NVQ levels 2,3 and 4 in Accounting
