Join our growing community of consultants today Overview Randstad is looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to support one of our biggest and most Valuable clients. This role will require you to: Implement sourcing strategies and define local/regional material field strategies for non-pooled commodities. Plan negotiations, define awarding strategies, and prepare sourcing board approvals while ensuring alignment with pooling opportunities. Negotiate local, regional, or multi-site contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms. Manage relationships with assigned suppliers, contributing to the EcoSystem commodity strategy and developing a preferred supplier list. Analyse market trends and leverage insights to optimize procurement strategies. Monitor supplier performance, report important data, and encourage early supplier participation in cost reduction efforts. Identify and mitigate procurement risks while implementing strategic measures. Ensure contractual terms are aligned with business needs by collaborating with strategic commodity management teams. Essential Skills & Experience Required 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or commodity management within a complex, global environment. Bachelor's or Master's degree or CIPS qualified Strong commercial, contractual, and project management acumen. Outstanding Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with component manufacturing processes and quality standards.
