We have an impactful and exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Barnstaple team. You will be required to progress the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning and in-service support of the equipment as part of a multi-disciplined team.

What you’ll be doing
Managing Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle
Proving Technical inputs to bidding activities
Integration and production qualification activities
Taking Prototypes and developing them into Products
Work Package generation and execution 
 The skills you need
Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
Coordinate and lead the delivery of engineering work packages
Manage the capture, analysis, traceability, configuration and V&V of product requirements
Provide technical expertise and support to the Business Development function including the generation of technical proposals and bids.
Define system architectures that will drive system design
Knowledge of military systems and hardware development
Awareness with requirements management tools and processes
Experience with naval design (Weapons & Sonar) and underwater acoustics would be desirable
