As the Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and work as a key member of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring all requirements of reactive and planned maintenance is met. Duties include:
* Ensuring PPMs throughout the heavy engineering plant are maintained to a high standard to maximise availability, reliability, and efficiency and to ensure the health & safety of all colleagues.
* Prompt response and resolutions to electrical breakdowns.
* Fault finding on PLCs and electrical installation work as required in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition.
* Record all maintenance activity on the system and identify and source spares and equipment in a timely manner to reduce production down times.
* Coach, support and assist with the training of apprentices.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be qualified to HNC / City & Guilds / NVQ / Apprentice trained or equivalent, within manufacturing maintenance.
We’re looking for people that are skilled with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, PLCs and CNC controlled machines.
