The successful applicant will be responsible for the co-ordination of materials and plant in order to maximise the effectiveness of building maintenance work undertaken. The work will involve all aspects of the repair process from the initial receipt of a general works order to satisfactory completion of works on site
Specific tasks of the role include, but are not limited to:
- To execute works in accordance with trade qualifications and assist other trade operatives to fulfil their work orders
- Ensure works completed are to the highest standard and are correctly completed first time as reasonably practicable
- Participate as a multi skilled operative in the delivery of an effective out of hours’ emergency repair service on a rota system
- Ensure all KPI's are met including productivity levels, quality of work, 'right first time', recalls and appointments kept. This list is not exhaustive
- To ensure that BCHG’s Core Values and Strategic Objectives are actively promoted and worked to at all times
Skills and Experience required if you want to become our Multi Trade Operative:
- Required to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays and an out-of-hours rota (additional pay)
- Hold a NVQ or C&G level 3 and a second trade related qualification
- Must have a full UK manual driving license
- The post holder will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check and a six month probation period
- All staff will expected to follow our 4 values – Integrity, Positivity, Quality and Respect
