We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to take on a standalone role (reporting into the Managing Director) ensuring that there is a solid Marketing strategy that is developed, implemented and tracked.  
(Initially office based, but once you have completed your probation period this is a hybrid role)
Role Objective
The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for corporate marketing and communications, support product marketing, and managing the marketing strategy for Complete.
As Senior Marketing Executive you will support with customer and supplier acquisition and retention.
This includes supporting sales and margin growth and delivering major brand and category campaigns that return an ROI for suppliers.
A key part of this role is the development and promotion of the brand, alongside building engagement with customers and suppliers.Role Responsibilities;
Responsible for developing, communicating, and promoting the brand propositions internally and externally, together with the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsible for all PR and external communications.
Creation and management of marketing material that supports new business activity, including presentational material.
Development and maintenance of the corporate website, to ensure brand consistency and reputation.
Overall responsibility for the marketing automation platform, including customer list management, email marketing, website and social media content, customer newsletters.
Event management
Responsible for customer research (including satisfaction surveys) as required.
Supporting the customer experience, including management of social media interactions and the brand experience.
Support the product marketing strategy, backed by supplier funding, for all sales channels. Alongside the Product Management team translate the strategy into practical and achievable product marketing plans, implemented on time and in budget.
Own and manage the marketing P&L, including supporting the maximisation of marketing specific supplier income, ensuring we invest in profitable activity across all sales channels and drive increasing incremental revenue from our supplier partners.
Own the lifecycle of each product marketing campaign including the justification of any income and the creation and sharing of returns on investment.
Responsible for ensuring marketing actions and external activity is compliant with current legislation – e.g. GDPR and competition rules.
Building strong relationships and rapport with key personnel, interfacing at different levels with key customer and supplier contacts.
Effectively manage a team of marketing executives with different experience levels and skill sets ensuring development and career progression. A key element of this is motivation and communication.
Person Specification
Evidence of ability to develop and implement successful campaigns whilst constantly juggling expenditure budgets, staff resources and numerous business critical projects.
Ability to manage data via the creation and use of management information and technology to improve the quality of marketing service delivered.
Time management is critical in this job role, so the ability to focus and drive to meet goals, deadlines and manage a demanding workload is key.
Excellent communication skills, high level of professionalism and gravitas to work with the senior leadership team and board members.
Other Qualifications or Experience
Strong marketing background (minimum of 5 years’ experience)
Experience of creating and delivering a marketing strategy in a commercially focused B2B company
Evidence of digital marketing expertise across email, online and social channels.
Commercial awareness, for managing budgets, controlling costs and analysing data.
Networking skills and gravitas complimented with excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
Good negotiating and people skills to facilitate key stakeholder communications and to build strong supplier relationships.
Numerate, analytical and ability to project-manage the team to complete multiple/diverse tasks to completion.
Developed presentation skills including being able to build effective presentations.
Marketing, Related Business Degree or CIM qualifications
