ERP Project Manager

Robert Half are working exclusively with a multi-national blue-chip company.nIn this role reporting to the Director, Finance Project Management you will lead large transformational initiatives including a global cloud ERP implementation, operating model alignment, M&A integration and more.
As the PMO (Project Management Office) representative in EMEA you will help establish project management guidelines and practices to ensure effective, efficient, high-quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business.
This highly visible position requires relationship management and collaboration at all levels of the organization, working with global teams across functions.
This position is based in EMEA (UK) and will require flexibility to meet with global teams in different time zones regularly.
The successful candidate should be able to quickly understand the business and must have excellent communication skills, with strong experience in leading complex projects in a global environment.
Responsibilities
● Lead programs and projects from idea phase through to implementation utilizing the established governance and templates in Smartsheet.n● Develop project plans / schedules and track the completion of milestones, particularly for business-focused activities. Identify critical paths, surface roadblocks, and find creative solutions to resolve issues.n● Partner with Business Owners to ensure clear business prioritization of requirements and promote collaborative relationships across business and IT.n● Proactively manage risks and anticipate potential issues that pose a threat to achieving project goals; propose plans to resolve issues and execute corrective actions.n● Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels. Ensure all stakeholders are aware of project decisions and status.n● Form recommendations on project management best practices and help the maturity of our Finance Transformation Officen● Align program with other company initiatives and manage cross-project dependencies.n● Manage through others; successfully influence cross-functional team members to achieve project goals.n● Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationships.n● Maintain enthusiasm, energy and focus on a variety of circumstances.
Qualifications / skills
Mandatory:
● Bachelor’s degree required (information systems, business, finance preferred), MIS or MBA a plusn● 10+ years project and program managementn● Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across geographies.n● Experience with ERP cloud (preferable Oracle Fusion) implementations in a global environmentnPreferred:
● Business leadership of large cross-functional technology implementations with teams such as Finance, HR, Marketing or Sales.n● Working knowledge of business process analysis methodology and toolsn● Strong understanding of Agile PM (Project Manager) practicesn● Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plusn● Experience with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Forecast to Delivery and Hire to Retire a plus
Start ASAP on a temporary / interim basis and convert to permanent after 3 – 6 months circa £65K PA + benefits (£80K package)
