Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our housing repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks to ensure our properties are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of electrical work, including repairs, installations, and maintenance in residential properties
Diagnose and fix electrical issues in a timely manner
Ensure all electrical work complies with current safety regulations and standards
Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems and components
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Communicate effectively with tenants and provide excellent customer service
Manage time effectively and work to project deadlinesRequirements:
Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within housing repair and maintenance
Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Full clean driving license
Own tools and transportation preferredBenefits:
