About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team in Colindale. You’ll work closely with teachers to implement effective intervention strategies, support SEN students, and assist in creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Application Requirements:
• Qualifications: Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience working with children, especially in Key Stage 1 or 2, and/or with SEN students.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a patient, empathetic approach.
• Background Check: Enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this if required).
• Availability: Ability to start in September 2024 and work part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Student Support: Provide individual and group support to students, particularly those with SEN, to help them engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
• Interventions: Implement and monitor booster and intervention programs designed to improve student outcomes.
• Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher in managing the classroom environment, including preparing resources and assisting with classroom activities.
• Assessment and Feedback: Help assess student progress and provide feedback to both students and teachers to inform further support strategies.
