Copello are currently looking for a Plant Manager for a defence services business based in Farnborough.


This role will oversee the shop floor management, ensuring delivery on-time, to quality and cost, whilst also supporting growth activities with a focus on delivery and profitability.


Duties will include:

  • Delivery to customer orders through manufacturing, focusing on quality and to time constraints.
  • Driving continuous improvement as part of standard operating procedure and practice.
  • Focusing on Health & Safety, ensuring business is running in a healthy fashion.
  • Ensuring machines are fully-functioning, being serviced, or business cases put forward for upgrades, replacements, etc.
  • Ensuring all mandatory site maintenance is carried out on time and in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Full communication with stakeholders and customers.
  • Supporting back-office activities and company growth.


To apply for this role, you’ll be required to have:

  • Previous experience managing and developing a team.
  • Site or Plant management experience would be an advantage
  • ISO9001 certification
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships directly with customers, to include customer site visits.
  • A solid background in Manufacturing
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and drive the team to do the same.


This role would suit a Plant/Site Manager or Operations Manager wanting to take ownership of a site and grow with the business, or an experience Production Manager looking for career growth and development.


This role requires on-site working full time, and eligibility for BPSS. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
