The Firm is in search of a seasoned Employment Solicitor, boasting at least 5 years post-qualification experience, to enhance its acclaimed Employment Team. This role demands a legal professional with a robust respondent background and proficiency in both contentious and non-contentious Employment matters. 
Advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Drafting contracts of employment, policies and procedure.
Advising on the difference between employed, worker and self-employed relationships.
Drafting Consultancy Agreements.
Some knowledge of IR35.
Managing disciplinary and grievance processes.
Advising on discrimination and whistle-blowing cases.
Assisting with TUPE transfers and other corporate transactions.
Business restructures & redundancies.
Defending Employment Tribunal claims.
Enforcement/defence of restrictive covenant claims.
Handling senior executive severances.The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating complex employment law landscapes, from drafting employment contracts and consultancy agreements to managing disciplinary proceedings and Employment Tribunal claims.
The role promises a dynamic work environment, where lawyers are employed on a flexible basis, allowing for remote work with access to meeting spaces across key UK cities including Birmingham, London, and Manchester.
