The Company:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Asset Co-ordinator with experience of working within the Audio-Visual Industry. We have been in the Audio Visual and Events for over 40 years and we are growing from strength to strength in both the UK and Europe. The Role:
The Asset Co-ordinator sits within the Asset Coordination team who are an important and integral part of live production helping to provide a quality service to our wide range of clients. The Asset Coordinator is responsible for tracking our wide range of assets within the UK and ensuring they are in the correct locations as required. The role provides invaluable support ensuring that the operation delivers an exceptional service to its customers. The role requires the incumbent to work flexibly, in a developing environment
Key duties include:
Responsible for overseeing the Audio department's inventory.
Ensuring all technical equipment is on site ready for preparation by the date the warehouse team need to start the job.
Working with the Hire In & Hire Out teams ensuring all scanned data is correct and the stock management system reflects true and accurate data.
Working with the Head of Assets to ensure all sub hire requirements are met, booked, and scheduled in for collection and return.
Acting as a centre point of contact for the warehouse team and the Technical Project Manager(s) regarding inter-company equipment moves.
Manage equipment shortages and report any concerns to the Head of Assets
Main point of contact for the warehouse team regarding any equipment anomalies.
Responsible for ensuring the end of year stock check is completed as required and any lost equipment is reported to the Head of Assets.
Keep the stock file and product database up to date and accurate.
Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by management.
Essential Qualities and Skills:
Previous experience or working within the Audio-Visual industry would be desirable
Excellent organisation, time management and planning skills.
Previous experience in audio assets management and knowledge of the audio industry would be advantageous.
Quality driven approach with the ability to follow strict guidelines, checklists, and instructions.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well independently in a fast-paced environment.
Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised, whilst recognising when to ask questions.
Flexible team player, willing to 'go the extra mile' to get the job done.
Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, ability to use a database software.
Full UK Driving Licence desirable
