FP&A Analyst
The Global Operations Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
* Support the annual plan and financial forecasting for the Operations function
* Monthly results reporting, forecasting, and analysis for manufacturing and supply chain activities including gross margins, inflation, continuous improvement savings, manufacturing variances, scrap, and working capital analysis.
* Assist management in ensuring complete KPI, metrices and Environmental, Health and Safety reporting in compliance with the Company’s standards in a timely matter.
* Providing analysis and commentary on operations entity sites with full P&L and Balance Sheet consolidated reporting
Operations Management Support Responsibilities:
* Provide Operations and Supply Chain Management team with timely, accurate and relevant information on CAPEX Spend, Continuous Improvements, inflation and purchase price variances, arrears, and investments.
* Monitor working capital KPI’s and trends focusing on Days Inventory Outstanding and Days Payables Outstanding within the business unit.
* Assist in setting up proper manufacturing reporting, investigate and report on variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing insights into the reasons behind discrepancies.
* Liaison within business unit with Operations FP&A Manager and Business Intelligence Manager on data need and stewardship.
* Support the Global Finance Director Operations and Global FP&A Manager Operations with reporting and data requests
* Provides financial support, consultation, and guidance to Operations and Supply Chain Management.
* Work with business and operations leaders to drive working capital excellence.
* Assist in ensuring overall compliance to internal controls, improve control environment, standardization, and policy adherence for the operations function, participating in internal and external audit activities as required
* Undertakes ad hoc projects as required.
* Proactively work with sites to develop and implement best practices and consistency of application.
Challenges current working practices and processes to drive improvement.
Qualifications/Experience
* Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting
* 5+ Years of Finance experience in a manufacturing environment
* Fluent in English both in written and verbal communication
* Familiar with financial reporting tools with high level computer skills especially Excel.
* Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) highly prized
* Financial Analysis, group reporting, and manufacturing finance experience
* Experience in forecasting and budgeting.
* Strong collaborative skills, communication skills and influence skills, abilities to build up network with cross-functionals as well as global partners
* Result and prioritization oriented, ability to identify risk and roadblocks and develop strategies to resolve it with alternatives.
* Strong change agent, ability to show the impact of change, minimize the impact and onboard effectively.
* Strong initiative, able to work independently.
* Prior working experience in a global company is preferred
