You will be responsible for overseeing the packaging of materials and maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the department and efficiency in the production process.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Supervise and support the production team where required
* Maintain the efficient and effective working environment
* Support the Quality Department
* Final record and weight checks of all goods
* Ensure manufacturing process
* Cleaning schedules are adhered to
* Managing staff performance and training
* Enforce all company rules, policies and procedures

They are looking for someone who has a background in food and drink manufacturing looking for the next step in their career. Leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team and reinforce a positive working environment is essential. You’ll need to be mechanically minded due to the variety of machinery, so it is important to understand how the machines operate. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, a confident problem-solver and able to take initiative to find solutions.
