Company Description:  Tramigo is a leading IoT Tracking and Connectivity pioneer founded in 2002. The Group headquarters are in Finland, but Tramigo operates globally with sales, support, and operational staff on all continents providing complete life-time support for its end-customers and authorized resellers. Tramigo serves government security professionals, large MNCs, municipalities and other similar customers in one of the toughest markets in the world.


Job Description:  Tramigo are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded and ambitious professional with an interest in building and growing our Tracking solutions sales in the UK as Sales Director. This is a stand-alone role with team development planned at around the 6-month mark. This role can evolve into full Europe-region management/focus as the business grows. We offer a great deal of independence to our regional directors to manage growth of their businesses.


Your primary focus will be on increasing sales and market share in the B2B and B2G segments (early on most focus will be on B2B). As the senior member of the Tracking sales team in the region you are to use your sales and revenue-driven personality to analyze short-term and long-term strategy in market share maximization.

 

Aside from substantial salary the role will offer significant performance-based incentives. We offer substantial compensation to critical team members, including company equity. (More about this can be shared at interview).

 

What we are looking for:

  • A sales professional capable to build and lead a high performing sales team, while independently creating a lead pipeline, closing deals and servicing of the customers.
  • Open minded attitude and entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity to further evolve yourself as an international business professional in a fast-growing and global working environment
  • Interest towards international business and latest technology.
  • Substantial experience with Telematics/Tracking-related sales and customer service
  • Great collaboration skills and an enthusiastic, goal-oriented and proactive mindset - you can work and solve problems independently but also enjoy cooperating with multicultural teams and partners
  • Solid skills with MS O365 tools, especially with Excel, PPT and Word


Main duties

  • Build a team capable of doing minimum USD $ .5M net sales 2025, with objective to grow UK business to $5M ARR in 5th year
  • Market development evolution: access reseller networks, develop fleet management cases targeting SMEs, progress to larger enterprises/govt deals
  • Daily communication with customers and driving of the sales funnel
  • Ensuring successful customer boarding with the tech support team
  • Taking part in research for new potential customers together with marketing and future local colleagues


Other duties : Administrative duties and personnel related. Administration is outsourced to professionals to enable the focus on local sales operations, but communication with partners and Group HQ will take some time on a daily/weekly basis.

·      90% UK, 10% EU (estimate)

·      From 2026, further expansion into the EU beyond the above

 

Product Focus

·      Primary: Mass volume deployment of FCT (GPS Tracker) series through OEM channel partner (especially motor), insurance companies, financing partners, as well as reseller channels for end-customers

·      Primary : Mission-Critical Fleet Management (MCFM) & standard B2B Fleet Management

·      Secondary: Push-To-Talk (PTT) (huge growth market with higher ARPU)


Current UK Business:

  • Tramigo has its own legal UK entity ready and active with minor ongoing business initiated. There are limited opportunistic sales via leads generated online.
  • For our specialized PTT products there is a separate Sales Director.
