Company Description

Working for Wildlife (W4W) provides face-to-face fundraising and awareness services to UK wildlife/nature charities, primarily at venues and events. W4W are proud to represent the Lancashire, Greater Manchester and North Merseyside Wildlife trust, WWF, the Woodland Trust, Greenpeace, Plantlife, and more.


Role Description

This is a remote role for a self-employed Charity Fundraiser. As a Charity Fundraiser, you will be responsible for fundraising and creating awareness for UK wildlife/nature charities.


Working locally within a 45-minute to an hour radius from your home at a multitude of venues such as supermarkets, shopping centres & farmers markets as well as shows & events. Our in-house venues team arrange your bookings to maximise your chances of engaging with numerous donors during your shift. Your day-to-day tasks will include approaching potential donors, answering questions about the charities, and persuading people to make a donation.


The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It can be either full-time or part-time to accommodate your current schedule.


Charity-branded clothing and equipment such as pull-up banners, tablecloths, posters etc are supplied, along with an electronic tablet for donors to sign up.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Passion for wildlife/nature conservation
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Previous experience in fundraising or sales is a plus
  • Highly motivated and target-driven
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as required
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car
